Back In The Garage

Well, back in the garage staring at bikes and drinking coffee. Got a sleeping bag sitting on the Shovel. She’s begging. The bag was sitting on the Heritage the other day when the wife walked into the garage and said in a no nonsense, I want a answer now kind’a way: “What’s the bag on the bike for”? I think she thought we were taking a break. Nope. Just the bag I had in the back of my truck. Brought it inside and didn’t put it away yet. She said: “Oh” and walked inside. I think she was begging also. Soon Carol. We’ll hit the road soon.

So I’m sitting here and I’m dreading tomorrow. I’ve got to spend about 4 hours tomorrow raking leaves and mowing the lawn. Then it hits me; “You f*ckers that live in snow country have it too f’ing easy!”

Now before you get you’re plug wires crossed and say: “Willy, are you out of your damn mind?” “We’re ass deep in snow and you’re bitching about your lawn?” “You a-hole!”
Let me ‘splane myself here Lucy. You guys are ass deep in it. You “know” you can’t go anywhere. You accept the power of Mother Nature and jump on the snowmobile or put sheet metal screw in your tires and play pinball machine with the snow banks.

Here, it’ll probably hit 70 degrees tomorrow and I “have to” do the lawn. I’ve already put it off for two weeks and I’m just not that rotten of a neighbor; I’ll do my part.

Think about it. What’s worse? Being in freezing, ass deep snow and you can’t go riding? Or being in 70 degree weather and you can’t go riding?

I’ll tell ya, when you look at he weather here, and know that periodically you have to sacrifice a day like this to actually do chores, well, it really tears at your soul.

I feel the pain Willy. About the same temp here in lovely Arizona and what am I doing today? Housework! Housework instead of riding, I must need my head examined. Those lucky bastards don't realize how lucky they are to have all that white stuff. Thanks for setting them straight.

Yes sir...I was just thinking about this myself. All I came up with was; "There is a price to pay no matter what."

Me? I'd rather be able to do the housework, (lol, hell, I don't even do that!) so that I can ride pretty much whenever I want to....except for this last week....

Hire some neigborhood brat who needs money. They need the work ethic lesson more than we do.

Word verification: "chilimuu" No kidding.

Ok...you slid by with your splane'n. Lucky you put it into prospective because I was so not feeling sorry for your ass! So did you get the lawn mowed? Did you ride one of those damn bikes sitting in that garage? Come on...do it for me and then post about it so that I can say..."what an a-hole!" LOL just kidding! Hope it was fun being out in that 70 degree weather mowing and raking...I'll be out playing pinball with the snow banks today. FUN!

Willy, I think you're out of your fucking mind. Nobody is lucky to be ass deep in snow...EVER. Those poor bastards have to put their bikes away for MONTHS! We just have to sacrifice a day here and there to do yardwork or housework. Get your head on straight, man! WTF?!

I say all of the above with nothing but love, man, but you need to put shit into perspective and get your shit together! :)

AZHD: Housework should have been a four-letter word.

Dave: A price to pay you say? How’s that go? It’s the fucking we get for the fucking we got?

I can hear the oil dripping off Tramp from here. She’s crying :(

WooleyBugger: If there was a competent little shit-head around here I might.

IHG: You had me sweating there. I thought I was going to get my head handed to me!

Years ago I played plenty of ‘snow bank pinball’ in upstate NY. Of course we were young, dumb and full of JD. But it was fun, what I can remember.

Ann: Yikes! I did get my head handed to me. Yes Ma’am. Sorry Ma’am. It won’t happen again Ma’am. I feel humbled just to be in your presence Ma’am. Me bad boy:( Deserve spanking:)

When the raking is done, You'll be an ass-hole the next day. :)

Ann: If you say so. I’m not dumb enough to argue.

Mr. M: Raking or no raking, I’m probably still an a-hole.

I just told Dave the same thing in a comment on his last post. I understand... having to do chores instead of riding... sucks!!

Period the end.

Let me get this straight... 70deg and you can't ride? My lawn ain't raked and it's covered in snow. It's supposed to be above freezin' tomorrow, I think I'm gonna go for a ride. Forget your lawn... ride.

Lady R: Yes it sucks but so does working. And I can’t get out of that either.

nickhath: Just trying to keep the neighbors from coming after me with pitch forks.
